Twas the night before the iron bowl, when all through the south

Every bammer was drunk and running their mouth

The chewing tobaccer was fresh and the budweiser cold

with hopes of derailing the tigers, like days of old

The bama fans were nestled and all dressed in red

with visions of shreveport, dancing in their head

And mama with her spit cup, daddy with his bama cap

had just settled their brains, while sister sat in daddy's lap

When out from the stadium there arose such a clatter

I sprang from my seat to see what was the matter

Away to the concession I flew in a Flash

But I forgot I'm a bammer and I have no cash

The sun on the breast of the new mowed grass

watching pennington in warm ups with that jump throw pass

when, what to my wondering eyes should appear

it's the voice of the "bear" as I start to shed a tear

The tide comes running out, so lively and quick

I knew in a minute, I was about to get sick

More rapid than eagles, then out the tigers came.

we whistled and shouted, the tide players by name.

Now Darby! Now Prothro!

Now Roach and Harper!

On Pennington! On Caddell!

On Ryans! On Bryant!

To the top of the line!

On top of the grass!

Now hit away, hit away!

Dash the tigers away all!

As the eagle does at Auburn, big Al try to fly.

He tumbled down the upper deck and blacked his eye.

So all over the stadium, the suspiction grew.

Yelling roll tide, go bama and beat Auburn too.

And then in a twinkling, I heard a big yell.

Auburn fans were cheering and yelling, bama go to hell.

As I drew in my head and was turning around

Kickoff had started and had came with a sound.

He was dressed in 24, and was scary from head to feet.

He was on a mission, it was time for bama to beat.

It was a bundle of joy while watching this back.

He ran like an escalade, that was made by cadillac.

His legs how he juked you, his feet were so merry.

His hands were so strong, to tackle him was so scary.

He wore 23 and would run you over, even in the snow.

He was the other great one who came in to change the flow.

The mouth guard he held, very tight in his teeth.

He was a very big man, everyone else was beneath.

He had broad shoulders and chisled abs in his belly.

If ole Keith could call this game, he'd be yelling ole nelly.

He sprang down the field to score for himself.

There was no denying him, not even the ref.

A wink of his eye and a twist of his head

soon gave the bama fans what they had dread.

He spoke not a word, he just went back to work.

He just ignored all those bammers, just being a jerk.

He ran again and just could not be denied.

The nashing of teeth had begun as the bama fans cryed.

They splashed the leader with gatorade as the team begin to whistle.

A poor bama fan will shoot their son tonight with a loaded pistol.

I heard him exclaim, as he walked out of sight.

38-3 we win, and to all of Auburn goodnight.
