Jersey Question for Oldtimers

I've recently been re-reading Saturdays to Remember by David Housel, published in 1973. In the frontispiece, there is a photo of Lloyd Nix and Chuck Maxime sitting on the bench, seemingly wearing orange jersies (The photo is b/w.) I'm curious as to which game this is, if indeed the jersies are orange. I think AU may have worn orange jersies against Furman in 1955. I attended the game, won by Auburn, 52-0. Can anyone verify that AU wore orange for this game? Or does someone know that the photo came from a different game?
