DivisionN 102
While we may never turn cartwheels over signing this guy.. if we did not have a good long snapper, it would cost us some games.
NYCAU99 0
I don't recall a long snapper signing in recent years. How customary is it to offer a long snapper a scholarship on signing day?
auburnpride99 6
I believe he had been committed to Vandy for awhile. So is this our surprise recruit today? I'll take it, we all know how important our special teams were last year.
lionheartkc 6,150
I don't recall a long snapper signing in recent years. How customary is it to offer a long snapper a scholarship on signing day? He signed as a preferred walk-on. Also, for years, we had a pipeline of long snappers coming from the same family. Now they have all graduated.

One reason Auburn Special teams are usually very good is we always get good kickers and good long snappers.

Mikey 16,777
Yes, he "signed" a Letter of Intent. That's not the same as signing financial aid papers. He doesn't count as a signee and won't count against annual or overall limits. This is the same way Tennessee "signed" 35. Three of theirs don't count.
