Oh, well.... Right. I sighed when I saw that post. Another season of debating the merits of bunting on this forum. There's a time to bunt. Maybe it comes up once a game, maybe not. With a runner already on second and a decent hitter at the plate is NOT the time to bunt. That's IMHO, of course, but my opinion is based on over 35 years of baseball experience including stints as a player, coach, manager and league official.
