NLI is not yet in ...

Can confirm from someone who works at Armwood. His NLI hasn't been faxed

For the love of God don't let this turn into another Kouandjio situation.

It'll get there. This guy has been straight up from the get go. Everyone just needs to relax and don't have a coronary.

I wouldn't think that he'd pull a Kouandjio but it is very odd that its coming up on 2hrs since his announcement and he hasn't faxed in the LOI. Not even close to going into meltdown mode yet but this is strange enough to raise some concerns that something fishy is going on.

There's nothing fishy going on. I don't know what the reason is. With faxes you never know how it's going to go. I wish they'd go to electronic. Use an I Pad or something similar where all you have to do is sign with your finger and press send.

No kidding. Really is odd that they are still having to use fax machines. Maybe the fax just broke and they had to send someone to a thrift store to find another one.

This was by far the biggest signing for us because of our need at DE. I can see him being what Lawson was as FR to Ford on the opposite end with Lawson now in the Ford role. Well done Muschamp!

Why use fax? Why not scan and email or do electronic signatures?

A fax'd signature is a legal document, but an email's image isn't (unless a process is followed).

Two bammers are trolling my desk about Cowart's letter not being in. They're licking their chops over CeCe as well. Fun day!

Ummm, couldn't be anymore incorrect. It is NOT a legal document (I am an attorney so I would know). It's simply tradition. There is nothing preventing these kids from scanning and emailing.

Then why do real estate documents require fax or a process to confirm an image as a legal signature?

Wrong. Emailed signed docs can be legally binding. Nothing special you have to do. I deal in contracts daily. Even documents that are electronically signed are legally binding.
