Duke ...

Says ones v ones...that means sophomore Stephen Roberts is getting reps with the ones at cb (and getting smoked by Duke). Doubt seriously he will jump Holsey for the actual 1 spot...so likely more like 1s v 2s. Sure hope our 1s aren't getting smoked regularly like that :0

Also remember that the DBs have had to get used to playing in a new system under a different coordinator and position coach, whereas the offensive guys have been here for a while. That competition isn't really played on a level field. Do they need to get better? Of course. But give them some time. It's just spring ball.

Roberts was also in man coverage on an in-route, which is really hard to defend, because he has to basically move as soon as Duke makes his cut. Jeremy did a good job on this pass of throwing the ball so that as soon as Duke made his cut, it was there.
