Named the 2001 Mr. Football, Cox finished his senior season completing 233-of-329 passes (70.8%) for 2,887 yards and 27 touchdowns and only five interceptions. For his career, Cox completed 424-of-617 passes (68.7%) for 5,417 yards with 50 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.

These stats are from high school.
