Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee accused their Republican colleagues of mishandling confidential information contained in Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s past FBI background checks on Wednesday and alluded that the files may contain evidence of inappropriate sexual behavior or alcohol abuse. In a letter addressed to committee chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), eight of the panel’s 10 Democratic members said the majority’s official Twitter account was incorrect when it sent out a message saying: “Nowhere in any of these six FBI reports ... was there ever a whiff of ANY issue ― at all ― related in any way to inappropriate sexual behavior or alcohol abuse.” The eight lawmakers indicated that statement was false and called on Grassley to issue an immediate correction.......... jw 4 au 526
I have no clue how he meant the words he used in his year book. Anything can be spun however you what though. I agree it seems odd, but look at it from a different angle. First, it was 1983 and those words/terms could have just as easily meant something else then, different day/different time. Who cares what Urban Dictionary says, they weren’t around 35 years ago. The extreme perversion from porn was ramped up with the creation of the World Wide Web in the mid 90’s. Boof and Devil’s Triangle most likely did not have those slanted extreme perverse meanings until recently. I heard the term Cleveland Steamer on Family Guy once, and had no clue what that meant (maybe a train or something) until I looked it up (don’t do it)?!? That’s ridiculous! These definitions could just as easily be newer meanings to those words. It probably speaks more about those assuming those are the definitions than anything else. http://onlineslangdictionary.com/meaning-definition-of/boof I will admit, i feel like I am defending a guy with some wild, maybe questionable, teenage years... if it is all true. Ask yourself what if it is not true. Truth is certainly in the middle somewhere.
TitanTiger 20,510
Quote Yale roommate says Kavanaugh lied under oath about drinking and yearbook Roche writes he does not know if Kavanaugh attacked Ford in high school or exposed himself to Ramirez in college, "But I can say that he lied under oath." Roche told CNN's Anderson Cooper on "Anderson Cooper 360" that he was shocked when he heard Kavanaugh say "boofing" meant flatulence and "Devil's Triangle" was a drinking game, "because those words were commonly used and they were references to sexual activities. ... I heard them talking about it regularly. I think that contributed to some of my feelings about the fact that these guys treated women in a way that I didn't like." "We were in a room together -- our beds were 10 feet apart for a couple of months," Roche told Cooper. "And what struck me and made more interested in speaking out about it is not only did I know that he wasn't telling, you know, the truth, I knew that he knew that he wasn't telling the truth." https://www.cnn.com/2018/10/03/politics/yale-roommate-kavanaugh-cnntv/index.html

Ginsburg isn't giving up anything. The only way that woman leaves is if she's not breathing. That said, if her health did force her to retire or she died while Trump (or another Republican) is in office, I think Barrett will be your most likely candidate for sure. It will blunt any opposition based just on the sex of the nominee. You're replacing a woman with another woman.

Whichever term you take for boofing, and i chose the party animal one on purpose, Boofiing is not flatulence. I have to admit that the thought of him getting prepped for testimony before the Senate when his BFFs and a bunch pond scum yuppie prep school a**hole congressional aides came up with pseudo definitions for some of these words. Imagine having a job where you go into work one day and conspire with other psypsaca to try and rewrite the urban dictionary in an afternoon. Folks, that is an SNL skit that could be gold, AND it is someone's job in Washing to DC. Can you imagine it? Hey, after they quit laughing like a bunch of sophomores at boofing jokes, they then have to reinvent a loosely plausible term to replace it with than log onto wikipedia and begin the gaslighting of a nation. I mean all those deplorables out there and fly over land are so dumb they wont know what Devil' Triangle or Boofing is.. And they get paid for this crap., BY THE TAXPAYERS. I don't doubt at all that BK lied about what "boof" means. I don't doubt that he was a huge ahole. I think it is absolutely wrong for him to lie in a senate hearing. But I admit that I don't feel nearly as bad about him lying to a senator who is asking him about something in his high school yearbook. I think that the purpose of the hearing was to get him to lie about personal things THAT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH WHETHER OR NOT HE SHOULD BE ON THE SUPREME COURT. I think he was dumb for answering the questions.
