bammer I see is playing their normal cupcake non-conference schedule. Boy, that chicken bowl kickoff game in Atlanta vs. the dukies sure will be a great one! :drippingsarcasm7pa:

We can only hope they will be looking ahead to New Mexico St. :-\

Our fans always worry about SOS but I have to think, the players who are the ultimate competitors love this stuff.

1. It provides great tape for scouts in terms of higher competiton

2. It is going to test each individual on how they can transition to the next level.

3. Recruitment . I have to believe recruits like the idea of playing on prime time , especially on opening day with so much anticipation. I imagine Shivers fellow teammates were in awe seeing him carry on national TV with people across the nation watching out.

I think it ends up being one of the toughest (again) schedules in the nation.

Ranked opponents:
Oregon
Texas A&M
MS State
LSU
Georgia
Alabama

With our luck, Florida will be this year's LSU team and rise up the rankings in a hurry too.

Fitzgerald leaves after this year. Just sayin'.

Oh and Georgia and Florida regularly go through October without a true home game.

I highly doubt Stidham is NFL ready after last weekend. Gus needs to convince him to stay.

depending on the QB situation,7-5, maybe 8-4, possibly 6-6

As long as we are the best 5 loss team, 4 loss team, or 6 loss team that’s all that matters
