auburn4ever 1,266
2020 Will look just like every other 8-4 record during the regular season. There's no changing and Gus Malzahn. Never.

Pretty sure there are some closed door conversations being had right now. That could probably be said every year though.
Eagle Eye 7 2,535
Just now, leglessdan said: Pretty sure there are some closed door conversations being had right now. That could probably be said every year though. I’m beginning to think Gus chose to run Joey off after the LSU game. His thinking is if the fire him Bo is gone because his deal at playing was with Gus and he would have no deal with the new coach. So Gus figures that with no QB no other coach would come in but that won’t work. AG won’t have a choice if Gus is 8-4 or 7-5 . He will have to fire Gus. I truely believe AG was on board to fire Gus last year. The president and Raymond overrode the deal though.

auburn4ever 1,266
After going over the 2020 schedule, Crimes still coaching the OL and Gus calling the plays again, Gus will be looking at his 4th 8-4 regular season record in his 8 years as Auburn's coach. Not surprising considering his lack of targets and the youth coming to the program. War Eagle to McClain and I hope he gives the UCF Knights some consideration. AURex 1,995
We have turnover every year. But so does everyone else. Auburn has recruited pretty well and has good depth in many position groups. I'm looking at the schedule and thinking that 9-3 is the minimum acceptable for Gus. And with LSU coming to J-H with a new (not-Donkey) QB, I think 10 is feasible next year. Yes, call me a sunshine pumper. One mod (he knows who he is) is my board hater and he will call me a nihilist and downvote me not matter what I postt! I'm just trying to be real.
