I think I first became liberal around the age of 8 or 9 when I saw the play "Unto These Hills" in Cherokee.  That's when I started to realize our glorious history had a darker side to it. 

I was introduced to the term "agnostic" about the same time.  It sounded pretty reasonable to me, compared to the alternatives.

These guys should go drinking and hang out with my neighbor when i was a kid that thought U2 was one of those Nazi Surf Punk bands from the mid 80's, and that Sunday Bloody Sunday was a lynching song, and Pride was about white power lol.

Mother took my War and Sort of Homecoming albums and didn't give them back till she listened to the lyrics of every song. And she was an accountant and it was tax season so it took forever and she was super pissed after listening to the lyrics. First time I ever heard her call someone an a**hole to their face.
