Issue: Whether the Second and Sixth Amendments permit a state to deprive an individual of the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms based on the commission of an offense while denying the accused a right to a jury trial for that offense. I do not think she should be allowed the use of firearms until the age of 25, however. Just based upon what I read in the point-counterpoint, it sounds like she has figured a loophole the DA isn't going to be able to ignore, even though they are probably right that this is a poor case to overturn something like this upon.
