"The Religion of Peace" has likely killed more people over the last 1300 years than most dictators. Not that Western Culture and Christianity are much better. Their entire culture, for 4000 years or so is war. Throw in the Muslim-Jihad Factor, and then add some just plain crazy folks in ISIS, and you have the pattern for almost permanent war. When has arming random groups of people with good reason to hate you ever been a good idea? US meddling has never produced a net positive.
