Worn out with Mo’s repetitive ad. He is obviously in Trump’s pocket, but I’d love to see some positioning other than lips firmly on Trump’s a$$. Ugh…campaign season. Both parties play to the base instincts of the least informed.

On this, we are in complete agreement. I'm already ready for campaign season to be over, and there's a full 9 months+ until November. 💀:dead:

THIS.

Gonna go buy me about 9 months of vodka as we here in AL watch our slow motion destruction by bad candidates. We honestly could not have worse choices, and yes ARP, I am talking to you. The ADP, we have lil to no chance to even field candidates for most of the seats in the election at this point. Those ADP candidates we do field will HAVE LIL TO NO CHANCE TO EVEN BE HEARD and all but no chance to win. We are just running them now to build name recognition for later. In my district, over the last three elections we have averaged 16-18 UNOPPOSED Elections. If you can win the General just by winning the Primary...well that is going to end badly almost 100% of the time.

Wow, thank you.

If anyone can even say that, (I know you were talking about Alabama Politics), and know it to be true for much of the state, It is so f'in sad these days.
VBNMW, ABAD is where we are as a Nation. The common people fight each other while Wall Street and our Elites get richer everyday....

Sadly, the Alabama Democratic Party has been poorly run for many years. The messaging that has gone out has been poorly constructed and not well received. Even more sad is the number of people voting against their own self interests when the vote Republican. Neither side is offering much discussion on policy and ideas that would actually move the needle in a positive direction for the state. Republicans offer fealty to Trump, and Democrats offer tepid opposition. Driving the disparity is a huge gap in cash.

I agree with you 100%.

My question is do you realize the number of people voting against their own self interest when they vote Democratic? You are kidding yourself if you think that either side is working in your best interest.

That is just sickening.  If someone cannot see the bull**** running from his ears, eyes, nose and mouth, they should just admit that they will do what they are told and believe absolutely anything they hear.

The problem is that one side is being more deceptive and leading with lies and manipulation than the other.  I don't agree with several positions that the Democratic party endorses, but they aren't pretending that lies are truths for the sake of ensuring that a 75 year old grown man not get his feelings hurt.  That is anything but leadership.

You really have to let Trump go.  Look inside yourself.  Are you pretending that Brandon is capable of leading the free world?  Do you not see that the media has done its best to ensure a 79 year old man is leading this country in the right direction?  Does the leader of the free world call a lid and goes out to buy ice cream while Russia is at the border of Ukraine ready to invade.

Pretending lies are truths?  Democrats = men are women and women are men.  Give be a break.

We are at the point where if two old men died, we would likely actually be much better off as a nation.

trump the toxic a**hole that is just a symbol of how much half this nation hates the other half. The other half supports Incoherent Joe, the man that is such a putz, we may have an all out war soon because most in Eastern Europe think it is time to invade and seize land because no one respects him.

America has become a laughingstock the world over.

BTW, 11-15-20 I told everyone on this forum to not be shocked if Biden didnt get us into yet another war. The MIC saw continuous war as a new business model and geared up to produce bombs and war machines year round. Biden shut down Afghanistan, the one thing I will give him 100% praise for. It was ugly..AND COMPLETELY NECESSARY. But Biden owes the MIC way too much. They are likely hollering even now for a war in the Ukraine. I would give yall some real info on whats really going on in the Ukraine, but no one on this forum would care. "Narratives uber Alles."

I would prefer the nation wakes up and not consider these two men that yells at the clouds for any public service position.  It would make me more confident in Americans.

The rest I agree with.  We are about to lose the perception that America is the leader of the free world.  It appears that it is what the left really wants, at least some on this site, but there is no consideration as to who will fill that void.  As bad as we look right now, I don’t trust any other nation to take the role.

On a State level it doesn't matter anyway.

As long as we have straight party voting where a majority of people in this state will always check the one "vote for all Republicans" box at the top of a ballot then nothing else matters.

The Alabama Democratic party could have a trillion dollar budget and the brightest, best politicians on the planet running for office and in alabama...it just wouldn't matter. That's part of the reason the ADP is in such a mess is because the national party knows that Alabama is a lost cause so the ADP receives very little funding or support.

We encourage people to vote party over individual candidates and most voters are happy to do so.

This is how people justify voting for a creepy pedo like Roy Moore.

Yep, and if the Moore-Jones election had been a general election rather than a low turnout Special election then Roy Moore would have won guaranteed.

Doug Jones barely won the Special election when Dems were making a special concentrated effort to beat him and enough Republicans didn't show up to the poll just for Moore.

The culture war lines are really tired.  I'm no fan of the far left, but I am also not afraid of any one group of people that happen to be different.  What solutions to problems have you heard from the far right lately?  I have heard none.  All I hear are dog whistles.  The blacks want to take what is yours.  The gays want to convert your children.  Men wanting to be women are taking over women's sports.  Immigrants are all drug smugglers and criminals.  Of course, my favorite is calling people socialists or communists without knowing what the words mean.

Now we hear that Russia's build up on the border of Ukraine is an example of Biden's soft approach to foreign policy.  Really?  Did I miss where Biden met with Putin and kissed his ass like a servant to his master?  I do remember Trump doing that very thing.  When Trump is out of politics, his name will no longer be relevant.  He is very clearly still the head of the Republican party.  Therefore, the only people that need to let go of the man are those sad individuals that worship him as though he is Christ.

I have never claimed that men are or can be women or the opposite.  I have also never seen a topic elevated in importance like that one by one group seeking to stoke some cultural divide.  I will credit the far right for their ability to find people and issues thru which they can funnel all of their incessant need to have some sort of public stoning.  They find groups that literally can't fight back.  Is that what courage looks like?

It is so bad that if someone doesn't vote strictly along party lines, people view them as some sort of radical.  How ridiculous is that?
