UGA loses FB for year

It appears Georgia has lost starting fullback Des Williams for the season. Williams suffered a significant injury while lifting weights Tuesday. According to TV report, he torn loose the biceps tendon in his right arm, is out for the season.

I also saw an article posted on a UGA pay site.

This really isn't a big deal. We have cross-trained Ware and Lumpkin and have 4-Star FB Brandon Sutherland that should now take the role.

I would usually panic with any sort of injury but this shouldn't be that bad.

Poor guy worked his ass off this off-season....ugh...injuries, suspensions, kickoffs....this sucks

If Kearney is unable to compete for Georgia this fall, he'll become the seventh member of the 19-player incoming class to miss the season. Five others did not meet academic requirements and a sixth, Antavious Coates, suffered a season-ending knee injury this summer.

Three returning players have been suspended for the season opener against Boise State following offseason arrests. A fourth, Derrick White, was kicked off the team after being arrested on a DUI charge. And junior fullback Des Williams is out for the season after tearing a chest muscle.

Not to at all but Slink whats going on in Athens, is imploding.
