Venables evidently is not too involved in his defense. He might have too much faith in his DC. ETA: Chiz had a good defense his first two years and Tubs was known for his defense. No parity. It's amazing how they can crank out quality teams year after year, with their top recruiting classes and lopsided share of 4* and 5* recruits.
