I hope so too. Also, Auburn wears the family moniker proudly but family can be hard on you at times. Expectations and results don't always align. I wouldn't mind if AF returns, it might be the best thing for him if dad is not on the bench.

It’s really weird, we get mad at having legacies not come here but often seem to beat them up when they do. Despite the family tag line, we most definitely eat our own from time to time. I do think it’s like that everywhere though, not just us. It’s how society is nowadays but that’s a topic for a different forum lol.

AF's stats looked pretty good this year. Pretty close to his soph season with fewer turnovers. 44% from the field; 33% from the 3 point line.

But we haven’t even seen them play.  How do we know they’ve improved yet?

I have no insider knowledge, but reading between the lines, I think maybe there was some building friction that was unhealthy for the team atmosphere going forward, and simply bringing in a similarly gifted 3 (as opposed to a more gifted one, which seems to be what we're ultimately aiming for) will do a great deal as far as the overall team chemistry element is concerned.

However, truthfully, this is all just speculation, because those who know aren't saying, and at this point, there's so much that could potentially change that what you "know" now might not be valid in 24 hours. That's life in the big city.

I know nothing about Ole Miss, I was talking about Allen and Auburn as the two sides that would each benefit.

Anyone care to chime in on what went down between Wes and BP? Why he left?

I think he’s got a chance to get a head coaching job there someday.

Just wondering how it all ties together with the departure of Wes or if it even does

It doesn't.

Wes and Bruce are great and BP is happy for Wes to reunite with Chris.

Wes knows that he's not in line for the next AUMBB HC and he wants to be a HC.

There wasn't anything nefarious with his departure.
