Baseball vs Ole Miss

Recommended Posts

This is a massive series for Auburn. We have played ourselves in to an interesting place. Before the South Carolina series we were looking at needing a series sweep of Ole Miss or Mizzou and a win in the other series to MAKE the postseason. Now a sweep and series win sends us to Hoover playing for regional HOST spot. Our RPI would be insane and series wins over South Carolina and LSU would give us a head above other potential hosts. There's a ton of ifs in that, but it's doable.

If you ever find yourself in a position where you question our staff, just watch this season.   Our pitching was awful early, and they have steadiy improved.   Did they get better locating and changing speeds, yes they did.   Did they get major league level coaching, well just look at Butch's history.   Please write a check and support this staff and team going forward.   WDE.

In Auburn. Event filled day and tuned in to Game 2.

Figured you would be "all in."  How about the old man Kason Howell?   If Larue heats up...   Look out...   Let's win this series tonight!!!!

btw Kenes has faced 6 MISS ST batters and  has struck al of them out....

Not surprising. On another note don’t that I would trade Ware for any position player in the nation. As I type 1 in for us.

Do we have another catcher that is adequate behind the plate, but can hit?

Surprisingly, Nate has been batting a lot better the last few weeks. At one point his average was down around .110

I remember at one point he was at .095

hes definitely not lighting it up but he’s got to be somewhere over .200 since round the miss state weekend.  Plus he’s hit some dingers including game 1 today

It has been  a problem all year.  Nate is so good behind the dish.   against LSU he had a back pick at 1st with 2 outs to end the inning.     If he could hit .250 we would be very dangerous......

Not many college players that can match Nate behind the plate.
