Harsin taking shot at Auburn

And more than one year later, it appears there still might be some hurt feelings as Harsin, who has yet to return to the coaching ranks, seemingly took a shot at Auburn in a post to his Instagram on Sunday morning.

Harsin’s Instagram post featured a photo with the words, “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.”

“Still True Today!,” Harsin commented below it.

Harsin’s post came just hours after Hugh Freeze and the Auburn Tigers suffered what some are calling the worse loss in Auburn football history ― a 31-10 defeat at the hands of the New Mexico State Aggies.

it would seem we are living almost rent free in ol hars head. it would be free but that buyout...................

He is right though.  See it all the time.

What Harsin quote should have said is this. " Hard work BEATS THE TALENT  I LEFT BEHIND. When talent don't  work hard". That's more accurate

Harsin is an expert on not working hard.

He’s the #1 reason Auburn was in that position to begin with.  It’ll be interesting to see which, if any teams give him a new opportunity

Haskins would know, he didn’t teach hard work, nor attracted talent. All he cared about was being “hard” and climbing stairs 😂

If Boise doesn’t hire him back, with that charming personality, he’s just waiting on Mullen’s spot to open up.

He's got the charisma and stage presence to narrate safety videos.

You got him pegged correctly on that one. Maybe he could work for aTm fire school.

Just ask Bryan how Clesi is doing, that will shut him up.

Who is Clesi?

Did he not recruit at these other schools? Or were they just lining up to come play for him at Boise?

Boise didn’t have much competition for players. They weren’t competing with pac 12 schools who were going after 4&5 stars. But they were the prime team for that next tier down. So they regularly had mid to high ranked three stars just showing up at their doorstep. That was enough talent to win at Boise State. His classes were typically in the 50s and 60s in the country.

The results last Saturday didn’t exhibit much hard work or talent and some of that falls on Harsin & Co.
