Foreign Aid is starting

France, Japan, El Salvador, Australian, Jamaica, Sri Lanka, Russia and many more. Sometimes they are relatively small donations to the Red Cross, sometimes its disaster teams, in some cases very large commitments.

At least one TV story last night said "over 20" nations were helping.

I don't know how much France is giving, but considering how many negative things some Americans said about them in the "freedom fries" days, they could have easily said "Screw the Americans, if they hate us so much". Goes to show that the majority in both our countries are rational and know that our two nations have more in common than anything that might separate us.

Yeah...because the french have never said "screw the Americans" before. How dare Americans ever say ANYTHING negative about another country when all they are is nice and supportive to us...
