Divvying up practice time ought to be interesting, too...lotsa HS football fields around, I suppose.

Falcons have their own in Flower Branch

Gatech is about 1 mile from the Dome

Georgia Southern is well about 20-30 miles away

And there is split time in the dome...

Auburn can practice at home then make the short drive to Atlanta.

I guess it would have been really hard with lodging and everything, but I really would have liked to see the game stay in LA. That state's economy sure could have used it. I had heard Baton Rouge but I guess that was wrong. Shorter drive from here to there though...

Wwith all that and the SECCG, the Ga. Dome has quite a line up. Too bad the crotch crickets just up the road won't be involved in any of them :big:

Georgia Southern is a little further than 20-30 miles, try about 2 hours or so.

Also, i dont think Georgia State even has a football team. If they do, its news to me. But they might have a field that someone could practice on. I imagne someone will use DeKab Memorial Stadium. Some high schools play there and I think some small college plays their home games there.

We played a few playoff games there in high school.

Also Georgia State is down the street from the Dome, not far at all.

You are correct, no football at Georgia State.

How could I be so uninformed? I am the prime purveyor of useless knowledge on this forum!
