Arkansas recruiting in an uproar

It appears that the Hawg nation is in an uproar concerning the decision of Arkansas commitment Mitch Mustain to visit and look at other schools.

The following was taken from several sources.

Apparently Springdale, Arkansas and current ARKANSAS commitment QB Mitch Mustain - the nation's top recruit - has opened back up his recruitment.

Mustain, committed to Arkansas along with Springdale wideout Andrew Normanback on August 15, has told Razorback head coach Houston Nutt of his decision.

"I can't comment on that right now," Beck Campbell, Mustain's mom said when contacted at her home. "(Springdale) Coach (Gus) Malzahn and Mitch will have to comment on that."

It appears that Mustain is now considering Arkansas, Tennessee, South Carolina, Florida and Notre Dame.

Mustain, the nation's top-rated quarterback, has certainly not ruled out playing for the Razorbacks, but wants to explore his options.

Springdale coach Gus Malzahn had been expected to be added to the UA staff, but apparently that remains in a holding pattern.

Mustain threw for over 3,800 yards and 47 touchdowns this season with just 6 interceptions.

Isn't there some rule that would stop a team from hiring a player's coach the year they are recruiting that player?

Looks like :arky: may have a little visit from the NCAA in their future if that is true.
