The email I got about this said it was the combined salaries for the coaching staff... but I have no link either.

Either way, I bet ol' One-Pete is raking it in.

See what you can learn by hanging around intelligent people?

Knowing that USC is private doesnt quite give intelligent status. But yes, I see what you are saying.

We may be at the top, but I still think we're getting the best deal, the most for the money with our staff. CTT, CAB and CWM are the best head coach/coordinators team in the country, IMO, and the other assistants have proved they can get the job done.

Notre Dame and USC are not listed because they are private schools...

230582

hmm, I did not know USC was private.

230726

The University of Miami is also a private school that does not show up on the list.

I think he was trying to point out the fact that they made the top 25 and alot of us wouldn't recognize that school as a high paying athletic deal.... wonder what sport they excel in the best.

Otherwise known as University of California or simply Cal. They have been competitive in football the past few years.

The biggest loser was Arkansas-Little Rock, at minus $8,698,807.

WTH? How can you lose that much money on sports in one year at a small school???

I agree, Fran needs to go back to small schools out west that aren't football powers, i.e. New Mexico and TCU.
