Looking at the rivals thing got me thinking...this would be a good discussion topic.

Who's your top 5 players of all time in college? Here's the rules: NO consideration to be given to NFL career or any accolades in another college sport. Also immediate disqualification if any of the following make your list: Dameyune Craig, Reggie Slack, Stan White, or Ben Leard :)

Here's mine:

1. Herschel Walker - UGA

2. Tommie Frazier - Nebraska

3. Bo Jackson - Auburn

4. Charlie Ward - FSU

5. Reggie White - UT

Honorable mention: Peyton Manning - UT, Mike Ditka - Pitt (played both ways and punted), Tony Dorsett - Pitt, Derrick Thomas - UA

He was an all-american LB for Clemson's 1981 national championship team.

1) Bo Jackson= the man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! forever

2) Reggie Bush= the most electric playmaker I have ever seen

3) Hershal Walker= too young to remember anything, but will give him his credit

4) Matt Leinart= based on college career and only losing one game, ONE GAME! I don't see how anyone isn't giving this guy his due. He came into Auburn for his first start ever and killed us.

5) Tommy Frazier= this dude was awesome

Honorable mention= Peyton Manning if he would have beaten Florida, I would put him in the top 5 easy

Barry Sanders

Desmond Howard

Deion Sanders

Charlie Ward

I really don't understand your obsession with Tommie Frazier. He's certainly not in my top 20 of all time.

Don't disagree with Walker or Bo. I'd have to give Hugh Green some consideration way ahead of Charlie Ward, Green was pretty awesome. Matter of fact, I'd put Ben Leard ahead of Charlie Ward.

Here's how collegefootballnews.com rates them.  I believe it's at least a couple of years old.

I forgot about Rocket Ismail.  He was awesome.  I am curious as to what criteria we are using to determine who the best college players are?

Just college career...not NFL...and its totally opinon. So whomever youd like to put on your list :)
