jwise0022 1 Posted July 13, 2006 Share Posted July 13, 2006 http://forums.delphiforums.com/spartanhood...ages/?msg=963.1 if the link doesn't work the website is spartanhood.com click on message board. kevin lapina was DLS's quarterback 2 years ago. he went to kansas st, and then decided to transfer after spring ball. rumored had it that the K St coaches really did not want to lose him. but he is now transferring to wsu. i wonder if he will be competing for the starting job. one thing is for sure, he is a winner. i watched a few of his high school games, he is athletic, strong, and a leader. not a great passer. probably will remain a backup, but a little shakeup at wsu may be good for au going into the first week. He is the top returning Pac-10 passing leader (finished only behind Leinart and Olson last season) and is rated well in almost all QB stats.
