The Florida Gators' Chris Leak passes during their 31-24 victory over the Iowa Hawkeyes' during the Outback Bowl at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL on Monday January 2, 2006.

Probable depth chart Quarterback12-Chris Leak 15-Tim TebowTailback33-Kestahn Moore 2-Markus Manson OR21-DeShawn Wynn28-Chevon WalkerH-back42-Billy Latsko 29-Eric Rutledge

The upside Chris Leak, a senior, has played in every game of his career and has started the last 33, making him by far the most experienced quarterback in the Southeastern Conference. He has played in big games and tough environments and seems to have taken his game to a new level now that he's been in the same offense for consecutive years for the first time in his UF career. ... Whether he plays at tailback or H-back, Billy Latsko's work ethic and presence are a positive influence on the other backs.

The downside DeShawn Wynn, Kestahn Moore and Markus Manson are all experienced guys now and have all produced at times, but their lack of consistency has been an endless source of frustration for Urban Meyer. Wynn has the potential to be a dominant tailback, but Meyer is tired of hearing about his potential and is demanding results this season. ... Moore, who started the first five games and the Outback Bowl last season, missed the spring with an injured back.

Young guy to watch Texan and true freshman Mon Williams rushed for 1,672 yards and 17 touchdowns in his senior season last fall and is a big back with speed. He'll have a chance to compete because the position is wide open going into two-a-days.

SEC rankings 1. Auburn :big:   2. Georgia3. Florida4. Arkansas5. Tennessee6. LSU7. Alabama8. South Carolina9. Ole Miss10. Kentucky11. Mississippi State12. Vanderbilt

Is it my imagination, or does Arkansas's stock seem to be rising over the last few weeks? I had them picked as a sleeper team that could slip up on AU if we took them lightly (ahem... Wisconsin), but it seems as though the bandwagon is filling up. Everything you see now is "watch out for Arkansas".

I like the GA pick above FL also.

I think the reason LSU might be #6 is because of our questionable status. There is no confident answer on how our backfield will perform.

Our returning projected starters Alley Broussard and Justin Vincent are coming off ACl injuries, and our most talented RB Keiland Williams is a true freshmen with no SEC experience.

your most talented rb is alley broussard. if he's back, all the way back, he and kenny are the two best running backs in the sec. forget about uga, forget about darby, forget arkansas' diaper duo, those are the best backs in the conference. qb controversy or no, lsu is better than sixth in the conference. i like one of uga's rbs but i'll take lsu's situation over their's any day and twice on gameday.

Arkansas is the sexy pick for doing well in the west.

They are the new "South Carolina" as far as picking the Sec is concerned.

New O Cord...freshman QB...lost a ton of games last year...one bad bad man at RB = 7-5

Fo Sho
