I truly admired Armstrong, but I lost alot of respect for him for what he did to his family. He abandoned them for his racing. He has even been quoted as saying that his racing came before his family. I don't care who you are or how good you are at it, nothing is worth leaving your family over. He used to be a humble guy, but the fame has overtaken him (ie Sheryl Crow, etc.).

Leaving your family high and dry, after they nursed you through cancer, is pretty shabby. I dont know the whole story for sure, but he has definitely slipped in my book.
