I don't usually browse "the woodshed" but some of the comments above are disturbing.

It's obviously a very big deal if Bama, Auburn, or whomever cheats even "a little bit".

And as to whether it's happening or not, the outrage here over interest that parents & players from low income families own ANYTHING expensive is just naive & bizarre. Those that believe folks w/ disposable income voluntarily live in low income neighborhoods or that there's no trick to honestly owning or trading-in valuable things for valuable things when you have little disposable income have either never been in that situation or know nothing about the impact of honest income on lifestyle.
