Trotter is a really smart guy who could be a coach to watch for down the line. Hope he does well.

But for becoming shell shocked from being in the right place @ the wrong time (behind AU's young '11 OL), Barrett IMO would have proven himself to be a great SEC QB. Regardless, best of luck to him and hope he makes the jump from coaching for pretzels on the high school level, to coaching for money that can provide for a family in the big leagues.

You'd be surprised how many 'pretzels' some high school coaches make. I personally know several guys that got out of smaller college jobs to go be assistants at bigger high schools and got massive raises.

But, for the most part, you're right...some of the $$ coaches make these days is insane.
