1st half

Auburn lead by as much as 17 but at half the score is Auburn 42 Alabama 35

Auburn got off to a great start. They led 23-6 at the 15 minute mark. They couldn't miss and Alabama couldn't make a shot.

A incredible note from today's Auburn vs. Alabama basketball game:

With 15:51 remaining in the first half and Auburn holding a 13-6 lead

on Alabama, Auburn's DeWayne Reed stole the ball from Alabama's Mikhail

Torrance, drove down the court, was intentionally fouled on a layup ...

that went in (for 2 points). Reed then made the 2 foul shots (from the

intentional foul). The Tigers then had possession and Auburn's Frankie

Sullivan made a 3-pointer .... all for a 7 point possession for the

Tigers.

With only 9 seconds elapsed from the clock, Auburn increased a 13-6

lead to 20-6.

Auburn has really shot free-throws alot better so far at 77%

Tay Waller was on fire early in the first half and has 12 points at half, which leads Auburn is scoring.

Dewayne Reed has 11 points at half.

Auburn is shooting 40% from the field and 55% from behind the arc.
