AUBURN, AL--(Marketwire - February 25, 2009) - The world's number-one selling country music entertainment publication, Country Weekly, is now also the official magazine of the upcoming Sticks Country Music Festival. This coming after Country Weekly acknowledged the two-day festival as offering "a great concert value" to their fans.

Country music's version of Woodstock, which has become known simply as "STICKS," features an all-star lineup of country music greats including the legendary Trace Adkins, Gretchen Wilson, Sara Evans, Rodney Atkins, Craig Morgan, Diamond Rio, Julianne Hough, Jason Michael Carroll, Mark Chesnutt, Ashton Shepherd, Chuck Wicks, Shenandoah, Granger Smith, Whiskey Falls and Adam Grant & Robert E. Combine that star-studded lineup with a fan-friendly policy and you can just begin to picture the overall value and tremendous experience.

The two-day, two-night, coolers-welcome, camping-encouraged extravaganza is happening at spectacular Parker Hill in Auburn, Ala., April 17 & 18, 2009.

"This event has it all," said Country Weekly Editor in Chief Larry Holden. "It offers an incredible array of talent, a phenomenal venue with ease of accessibility from major highways and best of all, STICKS is a remarkable value. In fact, at only $85, for a limited time only, for a two-day pass, STICKS has got to be one of the best concert values in America. We at Country Weekly are delighted to be part of this amazing inaugural event."

"We are extremely proud to partner with Country Weekly which is a must read for anyone who truly loves country music and the country music lifestyle. Their support speaks volumes about the quality of our event," said STICKS executive producer Jim Parker. "Since day one, we've been dedicated to providing a safe, high-profile, patron-friendly experience that's affordable to country music fans across the nation."

As the official magazine of STICKS, Country Weekly will have a major presence on all event promotional material as well as significant participation at the two-day event. Country Weekly will provide extensive promotional consideration in both the publication and on its website www.countryweekly.com

"You can buy a two-day pass online at (www.STICKScountry.com) for only $85," said event producer David Adams. "That's like going to 15 great concerts for less than $6 a show. You can bring your own cooler, tent camping is optional, but included with the general admission pass, and RV sites are available for $100."

If there are any available, general admission tickets will be $100 at the door on the day of the event. But, because capacity at STICKS will be capped for fan comfort, tickets are limited so fans are encouraged to buy now, guarantee themselves a seat and take advantage of the $85 price.

"Not only are ticket sales currently outpacing our forecasted expectations, but we're seeing that people from all over the country are buying," according to Adams.

"Parker Hill in Auburn is where it is all happening April 17 and 18," said Adams. "Parker Hill is only minutes from Auburn/Opelika, a half hour from Columbus, Ga., 50 minutes from Montgomery, Ala., 90 minutes from Atlanta, and just over an hour from Birmingham, Ala. If you love great country music you'll love STICKS."

To purchase tickets or to get more information about STICKS visit www.SticksCountry.com. Additionally, you can also call their toll-free information line at 1-888-381-7469.
