We were in the finals last season. Shaq ia not that big of a signing. He is done at this point in his career. But will fit in good with the Celtics off the bench until Perkins come back in Feb. \
AUBwins 10,296
I think the Celtic offensive scheme is great for Shaq. I think he could be a BIG player ... pun intended. Think of this, now they have big Shaq and big Baby (which he got that nickname for being a baby Shaq at LSU). Beantown wreaks of corndogs now!! Holland's Fro 0
The Celtics will do pretty well through the season. Once they get deep in the playoffs though, they'll wear down because of their age, and Doc will blame losing on injuries like he always does. Same old story

Same old story You think an NBA team can lose a starter to an injury and be ok in game 7 of the finals? Yeah they can, that wasnt their problem in Game 7. Their 2 best scorers (Pierce, Allen) shot a combined 8 for 29, they had 6 points off the bench, and they were on the wrong side of some close calls. Perkins didnt have much to do with any of that. I know losing him hurt them, but that wasnt the reason they lost

If hes healthy all series... could havebeen over much sooner.

AU lb's are beasts 2
Big Celtics fan, But the age thing hurts them. theyre smart, and still have crazy talent, but theyre legs give out on them too quickly now. They had the finals won, they just didnt have the stamina for game 7. you could tell in the 3rd quarter that they were physically beat.
