FUUUU!!!!!!!!! C'MON MAN!!!

I'm guessing no news on injury yet?  Maybe concussion type injury if he was taken as a precautionary?  Seems like if it was leg going to the hospital wouldn't be precautionary.

Seems they're releasing now that it is head/neck area.

Auburn offensive lineman Calvin Ashley was injured during the team's first scrimmage of fall camp on Thursday and taken to East Alabama Medical Center.

Ashley sustained a head or neck injury, according to coach Gus Malzahn, and was transported to the hospital for further testing. Malzahn said he has no further update on Ashley's status at this time but remained hopeful that the redshirt freshman will "be OK."

According to a source, Ashley had feeling and full movement in all of his extremities.

The 6-foot-6, 322-pounder was vying for the starting job at right tackle in the spring before being shifted inside to rep at right guard in fall camp.

Auburn is expected to release an update on Ashley's status as soon as more information is available.

Can’t mess around with those types of injuries but I’m hopeful he’ll be back in the next week.  Noah is the one I’m wondering about.  What is hurt on him?

Is Brahms getting better? Glad Kim’s out there, and hopefully Gus is telling the truth about “precaution.”

Typical coach speak, they talk, we over-analyze.

At least we're all doing our respective jobs here.  ;)

GUS MALZAHN:

-- 100-play scrimmage, split between 1st, 2nd, 3rd team.

-- 8 reps live punt, 5 reps live field goals

-- Defense had three turnovers, sounds like mostly interceptions. One was a "great play" another was a "good play" and another was a bad QB decision.

-- Offense had "some explosive plays."

-- Joey Gatewood went live.

-- Noah Igbinoghene was held out, belief is he'll be back this next week. Marquis McClain was also held out and is day-to-day.

-- Running backs were "pretty equal" with carries. Kam Martin was first.

-- Mike Horton spent "close to half the time" at center along with Kaleb Kim with 1st/2nd teams. Tucker Brown got in as well.

-- Jeremiah Dinson scrimmaged but was in an orange jersey.

-- Jayvaughn Myers was who made "probably the best play of the scrimmage" with an interception.

Gonna be right behind Slayton seems like! That's what they told him anyway. Might change.
