The "Trump just needs to tweet less" line of thinking- which sometimes goes as far as trying to suggest that the platform itself shoulders some of the blame, as with the "*social media and politicians don't mix" comment recently- is very frustrating, but there is value in it as anyone going with that is typically revealing themselves as you have described. And Trump has also used Twitter to tell everyone exactly who he is. As a result, it seems that many folks who made an honest mistake 4 years ago won't make it again.

In the current climate, though, there are legitimate, immediate public safety concerns attached to his hate speech and there might be a more legitimate, immediate value in telling him to STFU.

There’s a looney bird on my Facebook that continually shares crap he reads there, shares it, and then drops the whole, “sheeple, connect the dots, makes you go hmm” shtick. Conspiracy theories give people things to feel comfort in. Knowing something heinous has happened, but there must be something deeper and some puppet master pulling strings gives people meaning. Sometimes(or most times) it’s straight up propaganda. It could be a Greg that never left his home town population: 2000 spouting nonsense, or perhaps it could be the leader of the free world.

I went to a sports bar today for lunch for some delicious dry rub tendies and a couple beers. I was having a hard time going back and forth between a real time bass fishing tournament(to myself: Seth is sitting at a 15lb bag, 6lbs behind the leader at 42nd place. He’s skipping a dock, man, he could jump several spots with a solid bass here) and a world tournament long drive contest(there were people present, so I assume it was vintage footage). Last year’s SECCG was on another TV but IDGAF about that.
