Woman’s body found in Conecuh Co.

The body of a woman who left Norfork VA in 2018 was found this week, confirmed homicide. She had been going to Monroeville AL, last seen at US 84/I 65 exit. Reported on Mobile TV as body found in Conecuh county but instructions to contact Escambia AL Sheriff’s Dept with info. That just seemed strange to me.
