Looks like it's down to Bama and FSU. Bama pulls it out in the end.

Says who?

His brother.

when it comes to Nico, i would definitely listen to what WinCrimson has to say over something a news service reports.

Says who? To my recollection, he's never visited FSU.

And I'll advise you all to not be looking for a commitment tomorrow. Likely in the near future, but not Tuesday.

If it is between Bama and FSU, why should we care when it is?

if you don't care about it, then why are you looking at threads in the Rival Recruiting forum?

Untrue.

The fiction that was posted on BOL about Nico being "95% Alabama and 5% Florida State" is fiction. He's never given out percentages like that.

The guy who posted that was dishonest in doing so.

I didn't know anything about %, and I didn't read this off of BOL... but I did hear it from someone. Maybe that's where he heard it.

Someone who thought they had some scoop on when this guy would commit obviously didn't know. So what else is new?

My friend's friend said that Nico Johnson commits next Thursday in a super-double-secret meeting with Nick Saban.

I've been thinking the same thing, this kid has been committing tomorrow for 2 weeks now, lol.

I believe it was Rivals who said it would be Tuesday (of two Tuesdays ago). Scouts disputed it.

I guess I don't understand what he is waiting on. I mean, if he is so solid Bama, what is taking so long. Of course, on the other hand it would be nice to know that he probably won't decommit once he does.

You really are pathetic, aren't you? Very few posts go by where you don't cut someone below the belt. Stay classy.

Some scoop on this guy? Are you freaking kidding me? I am lifelong friends with this guy and his family. I see them every time they come to Tuscaloosa and every time I go home to Andalusia. Just where exactly do you think I got this info? It wasn't exactly some man on the street.

His commitment is hinging on several things but not involve the school he is going to pick. He will commit when he does.

You really are pathetic, aren't you? ==Nothing more pathetic than a bammer on an Auburn board trying to impress Auburn fans how smart he is. I didn't call any names. Are you just feeling guilty?

His commitment is hinging on several things but not involve the school he is going to pick. He will commit when he does.---I agree, so why do you feel the need to keep making predictions on when he will sign?

Impress on why how smart I am? It has nothing about me being "smart" and a whole helluva lot with me being a good friend of his and the fact that I talk to him regularly.

OK so you're not smart. Just trying to impress a bunch of good ole Auburn boys I guess. :poke:

Get you some of this:

I'm friends with a tenth grader whos great at football and baseball.

i'm friends with some 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders on Foley's team. thats because we have a few guys on the fire dept who are explorers and are on the team, and we let everybody hang out at the fire house when they want. just because somebody is close friends of the family and therefore the 10th grader doesn't mean there is something wrong with them.

Will someone please translate this into a coherent thought?

I wanted to respond like this:

Well, I know a girl who is a freshmen in college and she knew a fireman who twisted his ankle sliding down the pole but a 11th grader was there to wrap it for him so that they could go to the game that night. They saw this 10th grader score 2 touchdowns and make 12 tackles and escorted the prom queen but wrecked his bicycle on the way home and broke the chain.

I feel these 2 statements are very similar.

because it seems you are trying to make light of someone who is older being friends with a tenth grader. and i am telling you there are normal reasons that an older person would be friends with a tenth grader. i apologize that you cannot read.

I think it's safe to assume Nico, Kendall Kelly, and Dre are all going to Bama....They are all Bama fans. Dre even mentioned in an interview that they have been going down for games and such since they were in the 10th grade...it's like a second home. So no big surprise..

You apology is accepted. And no I can't read...gibberish. Your assumption that I was making fun of an older person being friends with a 10th grader was wrong which is what I expect from a bammer.

My point was I could care less who's friends with Nico.
