  1. Do other teams put half their starters on offense and defense on kick off's?
  2. Nice throw , the boys are trying, they haven't stopped. As long as they are giving their all, good or bad, I am cheering.
  3. It is simple, Robbie cannot do what they need him to do, he is much too emotional.
  4. Impressive going after our linebackers, works every time
  5. Was thinking 55 whiffed on his block but Robbie turned and ran right into him
  6. I like it, now the players don't have to hem-haw over what to say, what can be said. This is a win for the players. I hope that was the intention of our current coach.
  7. As long as they suit up, I'll be watching. If I can't be there or able to watch at the time, I record. If you refuse to watch that is fine, but if you have tickets and refuse to go then the only ones you are hurting will be the players.
  8. Let's get back to why our starters on defense and Jarquez are covering punts and kickoffs. No wonder they give out in the 4th quarter. Is this normal? What happened to Joko W.? If our starters are playing this many minutes then the mounting injuries are starting to make sense. I know we have a depth issue but surely there are back ups that can cover a punt or kickoff?
  9. He is replacing Dave Didion who I believe is retiring.
  10. It was good and he looked like we all felt after the game. I did learn something, however, that makes the wr pass play even more insane. I had forgotten or never knew that KM couldn't throw it away. It was sink or swim with a condensed field and 1 receiver route, it still makes no sense to me!
  11. I actually think this makes sense. He is trying to learn a new position and is behind some good receivers right now. If we trust Coach Ike H then this is a smart move for him.
  12. I don't doubt Harsin was going for a win tonight, if nothing else than to shut everyone up about his coaching ability, but when you play scared or in this case, coach scared the mistakes are glaring and not at all logical. He looked to be in panic mode early in the second half and some of his calls were just mind boggling for the situations. We all know how this ends, I truly wish him well at his next stop. The SEC is brutal and he was just in over his head.
  13. I HATE it for the boys! I thought they looked much improved and I thought the change in the O-line helped. The defense put us in a position to win. Just feel sick for all of them. Our play callers panic when the game is on the line, I just don't get that wide receiver throw back at all that close to the goal. Just not fair to keep putting our guys in such bad positions and expect them to keep bouncing back. Robbie should spend first part of every practice showing the linebackers how to tackle, I am not kidding!
  14. Carlson keeps taking the wind out of our sails! Downhill from there!
  15. It is why they play the game and you can never tell what could happen on any day.
  16. Has Freeze changed , repented, whatever? How long has it been since his last transgression, two or three months? My issue is that we are already disadvantaged in recruiting, hiring him will make this also easy to recruit against us. Mamas are not so easily influenced by win/loss records.
  17. It is a simple concept to just stretch the field, that could be accomplished easily. It is all I am hoping for at this point.
  18. Ok, here goes for you fanatics. I support Auburn, have my entire life and have seen quite a few down seasons and bad coaches. I support the Auburn team and as an ex collegiate athlete know of their sacrifice and dedication. I do not think that the insanity and toxicity of some reactions to a bad coach are helpful or warranted, but you do you. The way some come across you would think that they were paying the coaches and the buyouts. I can also recognize lack of adjustments and mismanaged personnel but once again, I have no hatred towards the aforementioned bad coach because his efforts or lack thereof will hasten his departure. I hate that his ineffectual game day plans are limiting our success. His time is done and it is now time to salvage what we can of this season and recruiting. See, I understand recruiting too.😉 Belaboring the point does nothing towards this goal, it only creates more distraction and makes it more difficult for the players. So yes, I support the team and hope that they can win as many games as possible because I already know that this regime is over. Supporting Auburn and not constantly harping about the abysmal state of our leadership(not just coach) is not madness because you choose to do otherwise. We should all support the team and then next year support the team and whichever fill in the blank super coach you think will right the ship.
  19. As an Auburn alum and an ex athlete, I cannot even get past the first sentence of this topic. I am assuming we're is were but please don't loop me in the we. Was yesterday pretty? Nope, but if you have been here as a fan for a hot minute this is not the first bad win in our history, there have been plenty. It is okay to wish for better for our boys, wish that they played better, wish we had better play calling or better schemes. We do not have the personnel to compete for championships right now in any capacity. There is also absolutely no way anyone (coach-savior) is coming mid-season to right the ship. I laugh at the millions several people on the board can wish away with no problem. We may or may not win any more games but the vitriol and toxicity of the fans is not helping either. I hope AU does the right thing and hire a great AD, let the season play out because no change is going to help this season and then go out and find a coach that can unite everyone at Auburn from the boosters on down to the rabid fans. I personally don't have a lot of faith in how many more games we might win but I do have faith that the players are doing their best. Sometimes and against some of the people we will be playing it just won't be enough. But I will still be pulling for them, not the coaches, but the players who should always have the fans in their corner!
  20. Considering this injury came from swinging a tennis racquet, how healthy could he have been? It has also been speculated that he could play since it is his non throwing shoulder and has elected to have surgery to get the med redshirt. But hey, you do you. Does he lose his scholarship since this was done off the playing field? NO wonder Harsin refuses to answer any questions about the QB's.
  21. Once again, it is not about TJ, this is a team sport so I didn't need his Dad to let me know we have had questionable play calling or a weak O-line or issues with musical QB rotation. NO sane fan was blaming TJ for anything but his bad decisions on his multiple turnovers. TJ's tweet and now his Dad suddenly during interviews is not a good look for them or for Auburn and it just emphasizes that TJ is looking out for TJ. Good luck with the NFL aspirations......
  22. If TJ is hurt as has been speculated and Calzada might be going for a medical redshirt as has also been speculated, then I wouldn't be offering up any info either. Why would any Coach do that, they would not. If we are down to 2, then it will be Ashford until that is not working.
