  1. Them losing that game was weird and Saban didn't have the usual temper tantrum antics in the second half that we've seen for 15 years. He had a comment not too long ago about how he doesn't really see anyone except his wife and he doesn't get to talk to former coaches anymore. It seemed like it's starting to wear on him. I'm not ready to dig the grave yet since we've said "This is the top!" after every bammer loss since the Kick Six but none of those losses were to flailing teams like TAMU. If they lose again or lose to Georgia I think you can say things have changed.
  2. Harsin still saying and doing the right things. Sucks to lose to Georgia and all their ugly fans... again... but it's going to take time to turn this around. Hopefully all the croots here aren't turned off by the outcome but see the staff is getting every ounce of football they can out of a hodgepodge of players left by the last staff. If you're a receiver or line croot you have to see that there's going to be playing time for you very early on.
  3. I admire the creative thinking but I don't think you can get the fans to go along with games that have been played yearly for more than a century moving to every other year at least. Georgia has eaten our lunch for the last 15 years but I still want to play them every year. There's going to be a fan revolt if these administrators think we can play the DSOR, Third Saturday in October, or the Egg Bowl every other year. People just aren't going to go for that. Nine conference games seems inevitable with expansion. If we do pods, which I like, I would rather play three games in your pod, one protected game in every other pod, and then rotate a game in every other pod. You would see everyone every three years and visit every stadium every six years which is still better than what we have now. I'd rather take the teams with the two best records because I don't like the idea of adding even more games.
  4. What is it about uga fans that makes them so much worse than bammers, corndogs, and Florida fans? Like what is it specifically about their environment relative to the others that makes them so bad? I can't figure it out.
  5. I'm so glad that idiot isn't our problem anymore.
  6. There are two things in the world that I am dying to see right now. 1 - For Dog the Bounty Hunter to capture Brian Laundrie. 2 - An Auburn win tomorrow.
  7. You know what? I'm ready to get hurt again. The streak has to end sometime and it will be next week with TJ Finley at the helm. LSU did exactly what we needed of them. They had an uninspired ho hum win against a not very good MSU team. The ogre will probably not survive to next season but he is not in imminent danger of being fired after their next loss. There will not be a circling of the wagons to save DACOACHO from being fired next Monday. Auburn - 24 Corndogs- 23 BARN HARD OR DON'T BARN AT ALL BABY!!!
  8. You know "most" and "all" have different meanings. Of course the gameplan was trash today and the team was unfocused. You can fix that. Getting better, or at least players more suited for our scheme, takes years to fix. You're missing the bigger picture and I'm not talking about the Jaybo-tron.
  9. I hate to keep bringing this back to Gus but most of our issues stem from years of his recruiting neglect. OL will take years to fix unless we hit the portal hard this offseason. For all of the madness of the Chizik years he recruited some horses in the trenches. Not a coincidence the OL fell off a cliff once his guys aged out. WR will not improve until at least next year when we either recruit better guys or the current guys have two full offseasons of coaching. If one of Stove, Schwartz, or Williams came back this year we're probably 4-0 right now. QB... who the hell even knows at this point? Bringing in Finley is the single best thing this staff has done in recruiting to date. At the very least it saved us from the worst loss in decades. Bo looks like he's washed. I think it's a combination of the expectations and two years of rock bottom coaching. I'm not sure he can be saved at this point. You guys are going to laugh but I mean this in all seriousness... the dude needs to get laid. If that's not on the table he needs to sit down with a shrink Ted Lasso style and figure out what's going on between his ears.
  10. Lmao if Bo is 6'3" then I'm dating Emily Blunt.
  11. I was there. I remember it well! We also weren't in a "TJ Finley running away from the goal line on fourth down with two defenders in hot pursuit on the last drive of the game" level of danger. IIRC we never trailed in that game... it was just turnover city that day.
  12. We should have never had to go 12 rounds with a #FunBelt team but defense was all world after the half AND our coaches had the balls to bench a floundering Bo Nix. Finley has earned the start next week.
