Every game we play makes me dislike Harsin even more. We are what we are now - a team with no juniors (literally), almost all transfer seniors, and a bad QB. No depth on defense. We have green/young talent in some areas but no seniority or identity. We are basically looking at 2012 but without any experienced players for the future. The transfers have been just sooooo disappointing. G5 talent has really struggled in the SEC, and that big 10 QB- PT…Oof. I had such high hopes. I was so wrong about him. I don’t want to name the score. I just hope the recruits see a ton of playing time available.

Remember the ESPN reporter Heather Dinich (I think) before the season saying that our WR room was not very good at all? I was like- you are goofy, come on, we are going to be great. Hooks 1000 yards, CB 1009 yards at least. hahahahahahahahahahahahaha wth was I thinking.

Proof of concept seems to be overrated. Like the five star receiver that committed to Miami right after they lost to Georgia Tech because of coaching. Or the kid they just committed to South Carolina after they lost to Florida…Even when the South Carolina coach blames the players. Relationships, NIL, playing time, those seem to be the key factors in a lot of recruitment. Of course winning matters, and getting to the NFL. But it does not appear to be the number one factor for many of these kids. Thank goodness.

Thank you. People just don’t realize how terrible the program is and how long it will take to build it back up. We have less talent than just about anybody in the SEC. Heck- An entire class is gone. These coaches and these players are doing the best that they can with transfers and no depth. It is a bad situation that was not caused by Freeze. I have probably said this 100 times, but it took years to get into this mess and it will take years to get out of it. Why can’t people see this? Freeze has been successful everywhere he has been. We must give him time.

It was always OL and QB. OL speaks for itself. QB: The only reason we had nix in the first place was because he was a Legacy and loves Auburn. Other than him, we have not had a good high school quarterback at Auburn in 15 years. Think about that. We can list them but it is horrifying and there are children present. Don’t get me wrong, transfer quarterbacks took us to the promised land twice. I know they can be great. But depending on transfer QB instead of recruiting HS studs will also get you where we have been in the last decade + and where we are today. In deep trouble. We need both - a stop gap and a stud HS QB. The funny thing is we will probably have to bring in another stop gap transfer QB for next year. hopefully the cycle will end soon.
