Over the years of attending AU and following AU football, if not a good team, I felt we always had some hope for improvement on the horizon. I don't have that feeling anymore. The perfect storm of bad fortune, combined with the most inept management and leadership I have ever seen, will require a long and painful journey back. We have dug ourselves a very, very deep hole. Dyer type assorted drug blow up or forbid much worse. A certain athletic department needs to be hosed out and fumigated from top to bottom, imo. At this point the only person I would hold on to would be BVG. If corrective actions are not taken he will not stay past this season and I don't blame him for that. Remember how badly we took it on the chin last year at home for our final reg season game? This year could be half again as bad as that and half again as many points scored. I hate it has come to this, but when things are beyond repair, I take great delight in doing away with the old and bringing in the new. Chopchop, get busy.
