this is just emberassing now. we were just Rhode Islands first win. We can absolutely not guard on the peremiter its baffling. All year we just give up 3 after 3. absolutely terrible. we are much worse than last year.

Tough way to lose one. Once again outrebounded. Got only 7 out of Frankie. Good news is that N. Johnson had 13 and J. Price had 19. For a long time Josh Wallace was the leading rebounder for AU with 7. Chubb ended up with 9 after 2 ots. Mostly a rebounding issue tonight. We shot 46 % with 40% from 3. We had 19 turnovers. Crappy outlet passes are half our turnovers. Good news is Greene looks like a pt. guard 8 pts. 2 assts. Price looked like the scorer he is. ADT may end up being a starter soon. Chubb is turning the ball over and not rebounding like he should. Small lineup worked with RI although that may be changed when teams get bigger. That's your ball game. If you have 19 turnovers, lose the rebounding margin to a smaller school by 3 and your leading scorer doesn't. you generally lose and that's what happened. NOT TO MENTION, the team was told to foul the 3 pt. shooter at the end of regulation and they did not thus he gets the bucket and to ot we go.

Can we fire Barbee along with Chizik? Not that it would make a difference. Rhode Island was 7-24 last year.

Do our coaches forget how to coach when they come to Auburn?

Oh well. At least there's baseball. <face slap> Our baseball coach sucks also!

It's just crazy how the most fundamental parts of the game are forgotten, number one being protect the ball. Hate to say it, but that's coaching. The PTB will be busy for a bit with the football hire but it shouldn't be long before they turn their eye to Barbee and his lack of coaching the fundamentals. Blocking out isn't rocket science.

Could have had two wins at the end of the game easily if: Barbee called a timeout on the final possession of the BC game, and if Auburn fouled RI before the final shot in the first OT. Simple. Basketball 101
