Article Regarding Mass Killing Trends

Here's an article that gives some facts about trends. In a nutshell, mass killings have not increased in the 2000s. There was an increase from the 1960s into the 1990s, but the peak of mass killings was in 1929. It was surprising to me:

I thought this was interesting with all the posts from both sides of gun control and the (can't think of the correct adjective) posts blaming this on prayer (or a lack thereof).

BTW, no matter what the trends, what happened is unacceptable.

Goes w/ the stats on guns used in homicides for the age group ( 18-24 ) I posted, showing a decline , after it peaked in the early 90's.
