Seems to me that many times, a "hero" play is attempted to be made or a very questionable decision by either a player or the coaching staff costs Auburn these losses. Have to be more mentally tough. Not many excuses for laying out for a ball and letting it get past you when there are no outs, and you cannot let the other team score. Tough loss and a big mistake with that last pitch...looked like a batting practice toss...but credit to the OM batter for being ready for it. Ortman has been our most effective pitcher so far.....sure hate to see that game get away. Going to be a real challenge to win the next two.
