That the methodology became over zealous is easily criticized but, quite frankly, I'd much rather be on the side of the over zealous when it comes to protecting traditional values that made America great. I agree the recent comments from obama aren't an actual attack, but it is very frustrating watching the leader of the "free" world refuse to acknowledge that Islamic extremism exists while taking pot shots at Christianity. I know some atheists who, in my opinion, conduct themselves in a much more Christlike manner than many Christians. It is sad and strange but, their rejection of Christ is based more on their observations of Christians and Christianity than it is Christ himself. Pulling it out of context is just flat out dishonest. In fact, if you listen to Wright's sermons objectively, you will find that he is telling it like it is. He is telling the truth and acting as an American patriot in that regard. And Lee Harvey Oswald is a red herring.
