WIRED reported that a group called the Impact Team, who claimed responsibility for last month's hack, posted 9.7 gigabytes of stolen user data on the so-called "dark web," a reference to a part of the Internet that can only be accessed through a specialized browser.

According to WIRED, the leaked data includes customer names, login details, street and e-mail addresses, and details of transactions that date as far back as 2007. However, WIRED reported that the data does not appear to include full credit card numbers. In all, approximately 32 million accounts at Ashley Madison and Established Men, a site aimed at women looking to date wealthy men, are believed to be affected.

Wow. Words fail. If you even visited AM, your life is likely headed to a divorce court.

Divorce Attorneys are about to have a boom in business.

Many will deserve what they get. Though I hate it for someone who maybe went down that path then thought better of it, repented and never went back and let their account expire.

15,000 .gov and .mil email address? Many may be fake or setups. If most are real, how stupid are government employees to use their employer provided e-mail addresses.....................

Jeff, it's kind of breath-taking to actually be so forward about being a Gold Digger.

I wouldn't go that far...

As if you needed any more evidence that the guy is a creep, Josh Duggar apparently maintained an account with them.

Read that last night. Geez I feel bad for his wife and family.

I wonder if he has some sort of sex addiction issue. Like, I bet you anything there is some regular consumption of pornography in his story as well. These two known issues don't exist in isolation.

Yep. His poor wife really doesn't have many options. I can’t imagine she has much real choice about leaving. She’s a 27-year-old mother of 4 children ranging from a baby to a 5-year-old. She has a high school education at best, has never dated or had sex with anyone besides Josh, and is surrounded by people who will push her to forgive him.

Full disclosure. I have a major problem with the way this " Quiverfull" or "Christian Patriarchy" movement treats women.

My scenario is: she’ll apologize for her sin of not being desirable enough to keep his faithful or being to demanding that he take out the garbage, or whatever else made her not ****able enough to keep him from sinning. Because Josh Duggar’s sexual urges are not Josh Duggar’s fault. They are the fault of his wife who was not attractive or available enough. She's very likely been conditioned to think that way and I'm sure the family will encourage it. Chattel doesn’t really get to complain about what its owner does. <_<

Sexually repressive, cloistered upbringing? Probably a very accurate sentiment, Titan.

I have an issue with that movement too. I have no problem with those who simply want to have large families or don't believe in using contraception. If those are their convictions, so be it. But that movement takes things several steps further.

There's a fine line between instilling your moral values regarding sex and teaching self-control vs being so obsessive over it that you turn it into an irresistible "forbidden fruit." At least with Josh, it appears they didn't strike that balance well. Then again, not every problem a child has is the parent's fault. If Josh started seeking out porn or was exposed to it by someone, that could send him down a path that is very hard to get off of. Porn messes with a person's mind in some pretty serious ways. Some studies even suggest it alters the physiology of the brain, messing with various responses and creating habits that are extremely hard to overcome.

I've never seen the Christian patriarchy movement go out of its way to condone the husbands for having affairs against their wives because of their wives appearance.

I got no problem with their way of life, tons of different cultures around. I don't agree with them, hence why I'm not a part of them. But I have no problems with their existence.

BTW, is this the sister banging guy from a few months ago?

I doesn't, and I don' t think that was what Ben was driving at. He's talking about the tendency within those movements to make wives so subordinate to their husbands that in situations like this they are required, expected or heavily pressured into staying in a marriage with a guy like this and even taking responsibility for his wanderings because they weren't sexually available enough, or didn't do all they could to stay attractive to him or some such logic.

Familiarize yourself with the particularly twisted brand of Evangelical thought I'm referring to.

And you have a PM.

I hope this drives home that nothing, I mean nothing you put online is secure. Hacktivism is on the move and will only continue to grow.

Too bad they took down the site where you could search the dump. Wanted to see if there were any other familiar names on there.

There is a large local Baptist church that seems to have a sect within it that subscribes to and pushes such thinking, and it has swallowed up my sister. When she and her husband were having issues due to his indifferent parenting and infidelity, the wagons were circled and she was indeed heavily pressured into staying in said marriage. She was also heavily pressured to sever contact with her own family due to their "worldly influence" over her. The whole thing reminded me more of something I'd expect from Scientology (disconnection) than a Christian church.
