Interesting discussion...I was at AU for the better part of 6 years, played all intra-mural sports, sometimes with or against scholarship athletes,... did all the usual stuff that students did in that day and can't recall ever seeing a fight among students. Maybe it's just a bad memory although I think that's the kind of thing that would stand out.

I guess people were not into the "dissing" and "respect" stuff that seems to be such an issue now.....and can't imagine anyone coming into the TV room at Mag Hall and demanding that someone change channels to suit their preference. And as noted earlier,these days, some conflicts that should have been settled by one person or another walking away now seem to end up with a gun being pulled.
