Dave, I'm sure the DOJ will get around to Global Crossings sooner or later. I guess Clinton's DOJ was just too busy trying to ban God and make all of us gay to concentrate on matters of jurisprudence. At least now we have a real man in the Oval Office who goes after the evildoers, even if his daddy did accept $80,000 worth ($14 million at one time) of Global Crossings stock in lieu of a speakers fee in Tokyo in 1997.

David, it looks like you're under the impression that McAuliffe was part of the company when you say "McAuliffe's investors." McAuliffe was a private citizen when he bought the stock. He wasn't the head of the DNC. He wasn't a political policy maker. He wasn't an employee or a board member of the company. He was...an investor himself.

Also, a quick check would show you that GC was pretty much an equal opportunity contributor.

And, lastly, isn't it strange that former World Crossing founder and CEO, Gary Winnick, would be a TRUSTEE for GHW Bush's presidential library???
