I was disappointed with Horace but he played well at the end. I had no problem with the refs. When we decided to play smart and attack the rim we were rewarded. They just let Harper get mauled at the very end and did not call a foul when he got fouled 6 different times and let usc lite get a cheap steal and bucket at the very end. AU was the better team but the refs kept it close early with the phantom goal-tend, missing two or three calls that were fouls or out on USC which led to points, and getting AU on 2-3 fouls that were going to be offensive rebounds. In the beginning we got calls too, we had Silva in foul trouble early got a couple of moving screens... and the calls weren't even up when we pulled away they were in our favor....but we earned those calls. We made the refs had to call calls. Just like Silva did early. Of course there were some blown calls but there was never a point in the game from either team where anybody could say no matter what we try they call it. The refs were very consistent as far as what type of game they were calling.
