I hear you on that, but I think "player development" is more off-field than on. Help them get acclimated to campus, make sure they get to class, etc. Could be wrong but if I'm even just kinda right, I definitely see the value in some continuity there. Also, we have kept off-field issues to a minimum these last few years and Gus's teams always had a good track record academically. From what I can tell, Kendall Simmons and of course Lac are the only carryovers that will have a direct impact on game prep and performance. Again, though, I could be wrong.
