In 125 years or so of football, OSU is 2-12-2 against SEC Top Tier Teams. The idea that OSU would compete in the SEC at the Top Level is a freaking joke. OSU is 23-14-3 overall, 13 of those wins are against SEC Cellar Dwellars Mizzou and Vandy. 7 more wins are aginst TAMU & UK. So 20 of 23 wins are over lesser SEC Teams and two teams that just recently joined the SEC. When provided with ample opportunity over the years OSU has failed over and over again to compete at a Top Tier SEC Level.

Why do you assume things would be exactly the same if tOSU were always in the SEC? There are decades in-between most of those per team results.

Actually, it wasn’t DKW doing the assuming. The link he provided is from an Ohio state page. They are the ones bragging about their record vs the SEC and acting like that is some indicator of where they stand relative to the conference. DKW just pointed out that the bulk of that impressive looking record is against conference bottomfeeders, and/or recent additions to the league.

DKW didn't just point it out tho, there are some personal opinions/assumptions sprinkled in.

Pretty sure that wasn't from tOSU's page. That is an assumption that during these 125 years everything would have been the same if they were in the SEC. That's just not true.

Right.  They are trying to make the case they matchup well with the SEC.  Truth is they are 2-12-2 all time vs upper tier SEC teams. He was riffing off their assertions. Yes, he had some of his own opinion in there but this only came up because of unwarranted bragging.
